Event Tents for the BMW International Open in Record Time
The Losberger De Boer rental team constructed around 2,700 m² of temporary event solutions in just a few days for the BMW International Open 2021. This enabled the organizers to prepare the Munich Eichenried Golf Club grounds for up to 400 visitors daily.

For the 28th consecutive year, the event experts at Ranzinger & Stamml GmbH planned and organized the BMW International Open held in Germany. They were responsible for all aspects of technology, logistics, branding, and VIP hospitality. To meet the high demands of this prestigious professional golf tournament, they entrusted Losberger De Boer with building premium space solutions for a variety of purposes.
Simple, Fast, and Precise
Project Manager Christoph Göbel and his rental team set up a total of eight tent halls, equipped with heating and climate control, a COVID-compliant ventilation system, and carpet flooring. They had a tight 10-day window to complete the setup, all while the golf club remained operational. "In a project like this, nothing can go wrong. We have to coordinate materials and personnel perfectly, while also keeping in mind the specific challenges of the site," said Göbel. One of these challenges was the sensitive grass area, which was protected by ground plates during the installation.
A Hospitality Location of the Highest Standard
The standout feature on the tournament grounds was by far the 15-meter wide and 80-meter long Anova Vista tent hall. With its curved design and expansive glass facade, it provided exclusive accommodations for VIP guests. The wide, horizontal glass elements allowed plenty of light into the interior and offered an unobstructed view of the green, while the tinted windows prevented heat buildup and glare from the sun.
In addition to the Anova Vista, several Alu-Halls were also used, which can be erected on almost any terrain and surface thanks to their robustness and weather resistance. This feature, combined with their ease of use, makes the Alu-Hall an efficient space solution for short-term needs and capacity shortages. For the BMW International Open 2021, they were used as organization and press tents, kitchens, retreat areas for staff and referees, as well as a clubhouse for the tournament players.
